On September 7, the World Digital Technology Institute (WDTA) announced via its official public account that it has officially released the international standard titled
“Security Requirements for Large Model Supply Chains”
at the Bund Conference.
This is the first international standard for AI large model supply chain security, jointly developed by Ant Group, Microsoft, Google, Baidu, NIST, Meta, PrivateAI, and other experts from dozens of organizations under the guidance of the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Greater China Region.
The release of this standard marks a significant step forward in global AI governance and international cooperation.
Li Yuhang, Chairman of the Cloud Security Alliance Greater China, stated that the operation of large model systems relies on a globally interconnected supply chain ecosystem.
The newly released “Security Requirements for Large Model Supply Chains” provides a comprehensive security management framework covering the entire lifecycle of large model systems, effectively addressing security challenges within the supply chain and ensuring the safety and sustainable development of large model technologies worldwide.
The standard covers every stage of the large model lifecycle, from development and training to deployment and maintenance, offering detailed guidelines for each phase. It emphasizes a multi-layered security approach, addressing security across network, system, platform, application, model, and data layers.
