HP has updated its monitor lineup with the introduction of several models featuring LG Display IPS Black panels. The highlight is the 37.5-inch HP 738pu curved ultra-wide monitor, priced at $1249 (approximately ¥9055).
The HP 738pu boasts a 37.5-inch screen with a 24:10 aspect ratio, a 2300R curvature, and a resolution of 3840 x 1600. This uncommon format is favored by many users.
The IPS Black panel offers a 5ms G2G response time, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, 400 nits brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 8-bit + FRC color depth, and 98% DCI-P3 wide color gamut coverage.
The refresh rate is 60Hz.
Connectivity options include:
- 1 DisplayPort 1.4 (with additional output)
- 1 HDMI 2.0
- 1 USB Type-C (with DP Alt mode and 65W power output)
- 1 Thunderbolt 4 (with DP Alt mode and 100W power output, plus an additional Thunderbolt output for daisy chaining)
- 1 USB-C (15W power output)
- 5 USB-A data ports
- RJ45 Ethernet connection
- 4 3W Poly Studio audio speakers with DTS VirtualX sound.
The monitor also features a built-in KVM switch and supports Picture-by-Picture (PbP) mode. The stand allows for tilt, height, and rotation adjustments.
