The latest smartphone in the Huawei Mate 30 series is expected to be released in October. It will shoulder the heavy responsibility of being Huawei’s flagship in the second half of this year. With the repeated leaks of more and more scattered information now, the tech community can gradually piece together the specific details of the Mate 30 and gradually begin to understand how the final smartphone would be.
LetsGoDigital has dug up two new Huawei trademarks information, namely “AIR Glass” and “SuperSensing Camera”. These were submitted to the European Intellectual Property Commission and the British Intellectual Property Office on July 29.
Patent information
Among them, “AIR Glass” is described as a mobile phone protection glass, which seems to be an alternative to the Corning Gorilla Glass program. “SuperSensing” was originally used to describe the RYYB pixel arrangement technology of the Huawei P30 Pro‘s 40-megapixel main camera.
At least for these two trademarks, it is quite compatible with the final idea of the Mate 30 Pro. The former is used to protect the “waterfall screen” near the right angle in case it falls down. The latter is said to correspond to Huawei’s new custom 1/1.5-inch ultra-large CMOS sensor, 40 million pixels, the same RYYB (red yellow yellow blue) pixel arrangement as seen beforehand.
