Lava launched its new smartphone recently, Lava Pixel V1, their first Android one smartphone in collaboration with Google. Though initially Lava smartphone were not able to make much high impact amongst Indian Smartphone users, but with this new device, many are looking upto this smartphone company again. Here’s a little sneak peek into the features of the phone:

Design and Display:
Keeping the legacy of design in Lava phones, Pixel V1 comes with 5.5 inch HD screen and has a slim body. The phone has 73.6% screen to body ratio with a 76.3 mm wide body, which turns out to be one of the best in available segments. The IPS display helps in great viewing angles, this device comes with a good touch screen that can detect upto 100 touches every second.
Software and Storage:
Pixel V1 has android one, which aims to provide high quality experience. With android lollipop 5.1, Pixel V1 can give you 2x better performance than other existing competitors. The device has been certified by Google, which helps in proving further that it may perform better as compared to previous Lava smartphones. The phone comes with 1.3 GHz quad core processor
The device has 32 GB internal memory, which is further expandable upto 32 GB using SD Card and 2gb DDR3 RAM. The phone focuses on keeping a higher internal memory rather than expandable memory so that phone’s performance can be upto the mark.
Camera:
Lava Pixel V1 comes with 13 MP back camera and a front camera of 8 MP. The main camera takes 13MP BSI Rear Camera images, thanks to software enhanced 8MP sensor. The device promises great photographs with its 1.4 micron pixel size and F2.0 aperture of the rear camera. 1.4 micron pixel provides more light per picture, which helps in clicking brighter pictures. Similarly, F2.0 gives depth of field, better focus and great images in low light. The camera comes with 5P Largan lens and Blue Glass Filter. Full HD video recording along with playback is also supported in the device.
Battery and connectivity:
Pixel V1 consists of 2560 mAh Battery , which can be optimized to last 90 minutes longer on Android one. Also, the phone comes with dual SIM 3G+3G connectivity.
