Lenovo Auto Twist AI PC Unveiled: Rotating Screen and Voice Control

At the 2024 IFA in Berlin, Lenovo unveiled its latest concept product—the Auto Twist AI PC.

This innovative laptop features a motorized hinge that can track user movements, automatically rotating the screen to face the user, and can also switch between different modes via voice commands.

The Auto Twist AI PC stands out with its rotating design, which makes it capable of responding to voice commands within one to two seconds.

However, the transformation process is relatively slow, taking about 10 seconds due to the motor’s speed. The follow mode is particularly useful during video calls, enhancing the user experience by keeping the screen oriented toward the user.

According to Lenovo’s Communications Director Jeff Witt, the company is still exploring practical applications for this concept.

Although many concept products may never hit the market, their innovative features could influence future designs. The Auto Twist AI integrates face tracking, essentially incorporating a built-in video conferencing system with substantial potential applications.

This concept or similar products could be especially beneficial for individuals who struggle to manually adjust their laptops, offering a sleek and futuristic way to switch modes through voice commands.
