Vivo India is celebrating it’s 5 year anniversary. To mark this occasion they are bringing their S series lineup to India. This journey is kickstarted by their model Vivo S1 which had earlier been launched in China. We have tested this device extensively and you can watch our Vivo S1 unboxing and review in Hindi below.

Vivo S1 specifications and features
The Vivo S1 comes with a Mediatek Helio P65 chipset on the inside and would be available in 6 GB RAM variant along with storage variants ranging from 64/128 GB etc. The S1 comes with a 4500 mAh battery and it comes with support for 18W fast charging. The phone comes with the fast charger bundled inside the box.
The display of this device is a Super AMOLED full HD+ panel with support for DCI P3 colour gamut. It comes with a waterdrop style notch and the phone come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It also supports face unlock via the 32 MP front camera.
The Vivo S1 is available in Midnight Black and SkyLine Blue colours.
The device comes with all necessary sensors and comes with support for USB OTG functionality. It comes with a micro USB port at the bottom and does pack a 3.5 mm jack.
The phone comes with Android 9 Pie-based Funtouch OS. The OS also has support for Dark mode baked in which comes in handy on an AMOLED display like this one for extending battery life.
At the back this device comes with the triple camera setup, there’s a 16 MP primary sensor with f/1.78 aperture and a 5 MP depth sensor along with an ultra-wide camera sensor with a 120-degree FOV.
Both the primary as well as the other sensors are capable of shooting up to full HD videos.
Vivo S1 price in India, launch offers
The vibrant and trendy device will be available in two attractive colour options – Skyline Blue and Diamond Black. The smartphone comes in 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants priced at INR 17,990, INR 18,990 and INR 19,990 respectively.
The device will be available across offline outlets starting tomorrow and on online channels including vivo India E-store, Amazon.in, and Flipkart starting 14th August. The 6GB + 128GB will be available for sale starting next month. The S1, like all Vivo devices sold in India, will be manufactured at Vivo’s Greater Noida facility.
