On September 20, it was reported that Xiaomi will release the Redmi Buds 6 earphones next week alongside the Note 14 series. Some product details and the appearance poster have already been revealed.
The Redmi Buds 6 will feature a noise reduction depth of up to 49dB and a total battery life of 42 hours.
According to the official teaser, the earphones are equipped with dual ceramic drivers, delivering flagship-level sound quality across high, medium, and low frequencies.
The design is in-ear, and they will be available in at least two colors: green and white. The charging case has a flat design with a USB-C interface.
Xiaomi has not yet disclosed the complete specifications of the Redmi Buds 6. For comparison, the Redmi Buds 6S, launched in June 2024, feature a semi-in-ear design, support active noise cancellation, spatial audio, and are priced.
The Redmi Buds 6S are available in three colors: Clear Snow White, Midnight Black, and Starry Blue. They have a small, square-shaped charging case and come equipped with a 14.2mm dynamic driver.
The earphones are certified for “NetEase Cloud Audio” ultra-clear sound quality, offering 7 hours of single-use battery life and up to 33 hours with the charging case.
